wiping does the trick by: Michele DeLeon
Wipe your washer down after every wash. Be sure to clean the rubber ring that is next to the drum. Lint and other things will get caught there. If you take a rag and clean between the drum and the rubber you will be surprised what you get out. Also let your door stay open until the washer has had a chance to dry out.

Of course! by: Michelle
My mom taught me all these things, too. I've never had a laundry accident because of it -- thanks, mom! Another one she taught me is to never overfill the washing machine -- she swears it'll extend its life, plus your clothes get much cleaner when they have plenty of room to dance!

Great Tip by: Anonymous

Even though it seems like a simple tip, its really worth following because sometimes in the haste of doing laundry we forget... and end washing our phones, money, and more!
