SteamFast Fabric Steamer SF-407

I purchased this steamer at Target for a little over $50 several months ago and use it quite often. I need to dress in business wear 4 days a week for an internship and my silk type shirts are not easy to de-wrinkle in the dryer nor iron. This steamer is perfect for my lifestyle because it is fast and efficient.

It heats up in less than a minute and will steam an entire wardrobe before fading or needing refilling. It is also very mobile; I do not have to set it up a foot away from where I am going to steam like I would have to with a steaming iron. The only downsides are the volume and a few small glitches here and there.

It is quite loud, steaming with an iron is almost silent but this steamer has a constant noise that is a little annoying and would wake up anyone sleeping in the room. Also, I had to steam several garments before getting used to the steam of this model and I still sometimes have problems. The pressure is very strong, making it sometimes difficult to judge how far away to hold the head of the steamer, and water spurts have been an occurrence in the past, making it very frustrating if I was planning to wear the garment that day.

However, on a scale of 1-5 with 5 being the best, I would probably rate it a 4. I have used other steamers and this one is consistent, very quick, and works excellent. Iron steamers are slow and take a lot of work, this one definitely does what it is made to do and does it well. It is also reasonably priced
