Samsung SilverCare Front Loading Washer

We've had the SilverCare for about 2 years with no problem.. It has a nice clean modern look with an easy to understand button setup. It's got a wide range of different wash cycles including Heavy Duty, Towels, Perm Press, everything we need. You add soap and bleach with a nice slide out tray. At first we used regular washing fluid but each load would have soap left over after washes. After some trial and error we found out that we needed to use high efficiency soap and then add another rinse cycle to get out all the suds. Somehow it detects if there is too many suds and displays a warning. It lets them die down a little then starts back up. That's really useful. It uses much less water then our old top loading washer, only uses what it needs to get the job done. We saved money on our water bill since we replaced our older washer and got low flow shower heads. It weighs each load to measure how much water to use. That's pretty cool, I think. The load size is pretty good, you can put quite a bit it in there. Two full length beach towels, a few pairs of pants, and a couple shirts easily fit in there. When the spin cycle comes around it can really make a racket if it's too full, however, shaking up everything nearby. That's probably par for the course as far as I know. I like the option to pause and add an article of clothing if it isn't too far in. It also has a timer so you can set it up overnight and then have it automatically start in the morning. One feature I like is how the alarm is a nice pleasant tune, not a annoying buzzer like some have. Alternatively, it also makes a *ping!* sound whenever you do anything, that can get a little annoying sometimes. Of course all the sounds can be turned off completely, which is nice. All in all I'm pretty happy with this model. I haven't had any significant problems with it. I recommend it to anyone who wants to cut down on energy costs
