The Roper by Whirlpool model REX4634KQ1 clothes dryer is a great buy! Though sold as an "economy model", it outperforms that label by far. We have been pleasantly surprised by its ability to take the abuse our family doles out on it. Frankly, due to its low price and class as an economy machine, we did not expect much from the dryer. However, we were tired of throwing money away on expensive machines that seemed to break down prematurely. Having poured too much money into repairs on our previous machine we decided to take a chance on the Roper by Whirlpool model REX4634KQ1. We have not been sorry. The machine handles large, heavy loads as well as our previous, more expensive models. We have had it 5 years without a single repair and we do not 'go easy' on it! There are weekends it goes nonstop all day Saturday and Sunday as we have four children. Additionally, this The Roper by Whirlpool model REX4634KQ1 clothes dryer is not in the optimal location for best performance. Our "laundry room" is poorly vented and in addition, the dryer venting must travel a long distance to reach the outside. This means this dryer has had to work harder to dry an enormous amount of clothes due to our laundry vent situation. Still, work on it has! This no frills dryer is for you if you, like us, simply wanted an economy, no frills work horse! It has plenty of settings to get the job done but is not full of useless frills. Simply stated, if this The Roper by Whirlpool model REX4634KQ1 clothes dryer ever does in fact breakdown and is not repairable, we will be at the store purchasing another in record time! It really meets our needs!
