Member's Mark (Sam's Club) generic for Tide

I have just recently switched laundry detergents again. Currently I am using the Member's Mark (Sam's Club) generic for Tide. It works extremely well, getting our clothes squeaky clean at nearly half the price of Tide.

I also appreciate the fact that the bottles have a dispenser on the side. This allows me to place the bottle on the shelf directly above the washing machine and push a small button to dispense the detergent directly into the washer, instead of constantly lifting a 3 pound jug.

Previously, I was using Arm & Hammer detergent, which used to be wonderful, but it seems that they have recently begun using more additives, because it makes the clothes feel like they have a filmy buildup, which has thankfully, disappeared.

turns whites blue!
by: Anonymous

Members Mark laundry detergent is something I purchased the last time I was doing my regular shopping at sams club. It will be the last I purchase it! My whites are coming out tinted blue and spotted with blue. Not because of my washing machine...its farely new...but the detergent must be full of dye. Would not recommend this brand at all :( Now spending time soaking my laundry that is blue in OXY and still not working out.

Yes, Member's Mark laundry detergent can be used in a Front Load HE washing machine. It is safe for use in any washing machine. I prefer it to Tide liquid. It does a good job, costs less and is safer for the enviornment too.

HE front loader
by: Anonymous

This Members Mark generic is a big savings compared to Tide, the container says HE or traditional washer but it fails to say specifically for front load machines. Does anyone know if it is safe for front loaders. I know there are some HE top loaders on the market and want to make sure if I use this in my front loader that it will not cause problems with my machine in the future?

Thanks in advance for any reply.
