clean the dryer screen really works by: Kae
I first had a dryer repair man tell me about cleaning the dryer lint screen. He actually took mine and showed me in the laundry sink how water did not flow through the screen! It was plugged with the film from years of dryer sheet use. If water couldn't flow through it neither could the air to dry the clothes. Take that screen out and wash it with soap and water and you'll see a difference in drying times!!

This Definitely Works.... by: kelli
Someone made this suggestion to me a while back and I can't thank them enough. Because I, like a lot of people, use fabric softener sheets, and even if you clean your lint catcher regularly, there is a film that forms on it. If you wash it once a month with soap and water, you'll save about 5-10 minutes of drying time per batch. It really adds up.
